A NORTH Yorkshire man who lured a woman to his flat and assaulted her has been jailed for five-and-a-half years.
David Fraser Flinton, 31, of Hinderwell Road, Scarborough, plied his victim with alcohol, kept her against her will over a weekend and kicked and punched her, dragging her back into the flat by her hair as she tried to escape.
The woman suffered a fractured arm and sternum and severe bruising to her face, with metal plates being inserted in her arm, and still bears the scars of the attack, which happened in May last year.
Flinton admitted assault and false imprisonment.
