Residents and businesses in the heart of the North York Moors are being offered the opportunity to sign up for high-speed broadband, thanks to the Superfast North Yorkshire project (SFNY).
A high-speed wireless link established at Blakey Ridge by the community broadband group Moorsweb Link is being extended to cover Rosedale, with the help of a £24,650 grant.
“This move is making next-generation high-speed broadband available to people in one of the most remote valleys in North Yorkshire,” said County Councillor Carl Les, the chairman of Superfast North Yorkshire.
