Firefighters were called to the scene of a shed fire in Whitchurch late last night.
The incident happened just before 11pm near the allotments behind the industrial estate.
A firefighter at the scene told our reporter the area had been closed off to the public due to a risk of 'asbestos'. The service worker said it was not safe.
While the blaze was quickly brought under control, the firefighters ran into some difficulties after their truck got stuck in the mud.
There were no visible signs of fire shortly after midnight however the emergency services remained on scene as they struggled to dig out the fire truck.
A second, smaller vehicle was seen making trips to and from the bottom of Bloswood Drive to connect to the fire hydrant.
Emergency services left the scene shortly after 1.20am, with the fire truck still stuck at the time of writing (1.30am).
