A North Yorkshire businessman well-known in the British food industry has been appointed by Yorkshire Bank to help enhance its support for food and agri-businesses.
Bill Mustoe, has become the bank’s food and agribusiness chairman and will support bankers assisting agri-businesses and food-related companies at its North Yorkshire Financial Solutions Centre, in Clifton Moor, York. Mr Mustoe, who lives in Scarborough, has extensive experience of fresh, frozen and ambient food companies and spent 11 years in senior positions with US-based Campbell Soup Company, where he was a global vice-chairman.
He has also been chairman of home-baking products company, Whitworths, Wellingborough, and at Symington Foods, Leeds.
