MORRIS men and folk dancers brought a splash of colour to York city centre in an annual celebration of traditional dance.
Organised by Ebor Morris, the two-day York Festival of Traditional Dance saw teams from all over the country performing in Parliament Street, King’s Square and St Sampson’s Square.
The celebrations began with a procession from the Guildhall to Parliament Street on Saturday morning and later saw the civic party entertained by dancers in St Sampson’s Square.
