One of the largest privately owned hotels in York is on the market with an asking price of £1.4m.
The 44-bedroom Newington Hotel on Mount Vale next to Knavesmire is being marketed by Colliers International on behalf of owner Mike Harrison, who plans to retire, having run the hotel since 1999.
Peter Bean, Colliers international director, said: “The Newington is a very well located hotel with well appointed facilities including attractive bar and lounges plus a leisure pool and large private car park.”
