I AM a cyclist and I would like to think a careful one at that. As my health isn't so good, my cycle gets me about, as well as helping me gain fresh air and exercise.
My son was cycling to work and suffered terrible facial injuries when he was knocked off his bike at a junction.
With the help of plastic surgery there has been an improvement, but he still has a noticeable scar on his face.
I am tired of motorists who drive with no thought for others, on their mobile phone, in rain, even in the dark.
It is impossible to drive with one hand on the mobile phone and the other on the steering wheel and be safe.
If they do read this they may take notice; or they may just get in their car and risk an accident yet again.
