FLOWERS have been laid at the spot where a woman was killed on one of York’s busiest roads.
The 38-year-old, named locally as Tracy Elmer, died on Tuesday night when she was struck by a Renault car in Wigginton Road, between the Bumper Castle pub and the nearby level crossing.
A 56-year-old man from Midlothian in Scotland was arrested following the accident.
