CHILDREN are being invited to take on the roles of Munchkins in an Easter pantomime in the York.
The Barbican and Enchanted Entertainment are looking for youngsters aged six and upwards to play the parts in their production of The Wizard Of Oz, which will feature children’s TV star Dani Harmer, Bobby Davro, CBeebies star Sarah-Jane Honeywell and Eastenders actor Aaron Sidwell, who plays Steven Beale in the soap.
Workshops for the Munchkins search will be held in York and Harrogate on April 7 and 8, with every child attending being guaranteed a place in the show, which takes place on April 10 and 11.
