A TEAM of students from York St John University is following a cycling paramedic around the city as part of its studies.
The six students are all in their third year of Film and TV Production, and have been given permission to follow David Milne, one of Yorkshire Ambulance Service’s Lifecycle paramedics, to create a documentary film.
Charlotte Harding, Jennifer Hollings, Libby Molineaux, Timothy Elsy, Holly Daubney, and Charlotte Groves are all working on the documentary, and their first day of official shooting saw them race to Fossgate after reports that a woman had fallen in the street.
Charlotte Harding, 20, producer of the documentary, said: “We hope it will show how important the cycle team is, because not many people know what they actually do and they are funded by donations.”
