MORRISONS has extended its Foss Islands Road supermarket with a new garden centre.
A statement by Styles and Wood, which has retrospectively applied for planning permission on behalf of the supermarket, said the free standing weather proof external garden centre would be made from a steel structure with clear perspex.
A Morrisons spokesperson said the garden centres were being built at stores which had space next to them as part of an initiative to add to its garden offer with larger shrubs and other items.
“The garden centre is an extension of our current instore horticultural range,” he said.
