Community musician Sam Dunkley and students from Tadcaster Grammar School lead singing workshops for pupils from Riverside School in Tadcaster as part of a Young Leaders project.
The Year 6 pupils from Riverside were taught by Year 7, 8 and 9 students from Tadcaster Grammar School, as they joined forces under the project funded by MusicLeader.
Sam regularly works in schools, prisons, theatres and in the community, singing and writing songs with groups and individuals. He has also conducted at the Royal Albert Hall. He said: “The young people were fantastic to work with and, having seen their workshop at the end of the project, I have no doubt that they have bright, musical futures.”
