A MOTORCYCLIST suffered leg injuries in an accident involving a car in York.
The male rider was taken to hospital following the collision which happened on Hull Road at about 8.50am yesterday.
It caused traffic tailbacks and a stretch of the road to be shut as investigations got under way.
In a separate incident, a stretch of the B6265 between York and Harrogate was also closed after a three-car pile-up yesterday morning.
Nobody was injured in the collision, which happened at about 8am at Little Ouseburn, at the exit for Thorpe Underwood.
