THE PRESS of March 7 reported about threats being made to a man convicted of badger baiting.
Sergeant Paul Stephenson of Malton police said such actions did not only affect badger killer William Anderson but also his family.
Well, maybe Mr Anderson should have thought of that before he tortured and slaughtered the poor badgers. Maybe if these badger killers had been given a sentence that deterred them from barbaric cruelty on sentient beings they wouldn’t have been subjected to threats. Four weeks in prison is no sentence whatsoever. Now, for me, they should have received at least four years each. Also, if anyone of my family inflicted such barbaric cruelty they wouldn’t be allowed in the family circle any more.
