WOMEN can get beauty and make-up tips from professionals while at the same time raising funds for York Hospital.
Staff from Boots in Coney Street, York, in conjunction with Clinique, have teamed up with the York Teaching Hospital Charity to organise two Charity Beauty School evenings next month.
The evenings, which will take place on Wednesday, April 11, and Wednesday, April 18, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, will provide women with the chance to learn how to apply make-up like a professional in a fun environment. Proceeds from the events will go to the Lots Of Cots Appeal, which aims to buy new cots for the hospital’s Maternity Unit. Tickets for the evenings, which will also include a raffle, cost £5, inclusive of a glass of wine.
To buy tickets, phone Lucy Watson on 01904 721737 or email lucy.watson@york.nhs.uk Tickets can also be bought at the Clinique counter at the Boots Coney Street store.
