IN HIS letter of March 14, R Westmoreland accuses Israel of “genocide” against the Palestinians of the Gaza Strip.
According the Palestinian Bureau of Statistics, the population of the Gaza Strip increased from just over a million in 1997 to just over 1.4 million in 2007.
I’m no expert, but if this is genocide then the Israelis clearly aren’t doing a very good job.
As for the America having the dumbest electorate in the world, at least they weren’t stupid enough to elect Hamas, which has banned mixed-gender social events and accused Israel of distributing aphrodisiac-laced chewing gum to corrupt Palestinian youth.
