AS the search for missing York teenager Jordan Sullivan enters its third week, police have issued a fresh appeal for clues.

Officers have been carrying out daily patrols in the hunt for the missing 19-year-old who was last seen heading towards the River Ouse, off Acaster Lane, at about 9.30am on Tuesday, February 14. His clothes and wallet were later found nearby.

His mother Nicola Jobling and father Gary Sullivan have since made an emotional appeal for information about their son’s whereabouts.

Inspector Jo Brooksbank, of York Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Despite our ongoing efforts to locate Jordan, sadly he remains missing.

“I urge anyone who may have been in the area on Valentine’s Day to cast their minds back and see if they can recall something that could help with this inquiry.

“I would also like to repeat our plea to Jordan, if you see or hear this appeal, please let your family, friends or the police know you are safe.

“They are sick with worry and desperate to hear from you.”

Jordan, a travel consultant at Quartz Travel in Heworth, is described as white, about 5ft 9in tall, with a slim build and short dark hair. He also has a tattoo of a crucifix running between his shoulder blades.

Anyone who can help to locate Jordan Sullivan is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police as a matter of urgency on 101
