AS A landlord who prides himself on providing top-quality homes at reasonable cost, and who has over the years paid thousands of pounds of tax on the rental income received, I suggest your correspondent Liz Edge (Letters, February 15) does a bit of basic research before pontificating on a subject she appears to know little about.
