I REALLY enjoyed the production at the York Theatre Royal of The Diary Of Anne Frank. It was very well produced and the acting was excellent.

However, the children sitting directly in front of us were, in my opinion, a little young to appreciate such a serious production.

Although I like children and think it’s great they are given the opportunity of going to the theatre through school, this play, in my opinion, was not really appropriate for children at primary or junior schools. This was obvious from all the fidgeting going on and, in some cases, conversations them during the performance.
