MORE than 1,000 people have aired their views on plans to redevelop the former British Sugar and Manor School site in York.
The land falls within the overall York Northwest development area and is earmarked for about 1,300 homes, with City of York Council having staged a consultation exercise last year covering issues such as community facilities, access and traffic.
The authority’s local development framework will be asked to approve planning guidelines for the site on March 5.
