PLANS have been drawn up to revamp the gateway to a school in an East Yorkshire town.
The proposals would see a new main entrance being built at Pocklington Community Junior School, with agents acting on behalf of the school saying the intention is to make the site more of a focal point in the area.
A report submitted by Jenneson Associates said the existing entrance to the Kirkland Street school was “sandwiched” between two buildings and could not be seen from a distance.
