IT’S a case of beer today, gone tomorrow for North Yorkshire brewer Rob Franklin — who is selling his entire collection of ale memorabilia.

Mr Franklin, who runs the Storyteller Brewery, is selling hundreds of old beer bottles, pump clips, mats, trays ties and other collectibles.

He previously had them at the Bay Horse pub in Terrington, where his brewery was based, but the pub recently closed down and Mr Franklin is now looking to offload them.

He said: “Bits and pieces were on the shelves but most of the tankards themselves were ones I’d picked up personally – some were events I’d been to and some where collectors’ items.”

The collection includes several dozen glasses, hundreds of beers mats and pump clips, and a number of bottles.

The collection is being sold as a single lot on the internet auction site eBay.
