A BRIDE preparing for her big day after winning her wedding courtesy of The Press has been to pick out her flowers.
Acomb couple Michelle Stannard and Adrian Elliott beat 20 other entrants in a phone vote to win the all-inclusive Win A Wedding competition complete with venue, catering, outfits and more.
As part of the prize, Michelle has been in to family run florists Buzzy Bees in Highfield Garage, Bubwith, where she picked out her bouquet, the bridesmaid bouquets, button holes and other flowers.
The shop, which used to be based in Skipwith, specialises in wedding flowers.
Julia Procter, the shop’s owner and head designer, said Michelle spent a while in consultation before making her decision.
She said: “Her bouquet reflects her - she has gone for glamour and sparkle. She was a really easy bride to work with.”
Michelle said: “Julia was really nice and when you walk in she had the article up about us winning the wedding. I felt really welcome.”
