FOUR men accused of being part of a gang armed with machetes, baseball bats and coshes have again been remanded in custody.
Daniel Anthony Dougherty, 27, Wilson Fitch-Banks, 23, Nathan Wilson, 24, and Stine Wilson, 26, were arrested after an incident in Etty Avenue, Tang Hall, York, on February 16 in which a woman and child were allegedly assaulted and car and house windows were smashed.
All four will next appear before York magistrates on March 22 via a video link. At their first appearance on February 18, magistrates decided their case was so serious it should be committed to York Crown Court.
Dougherty, of Fifth Avenue, Tang Hall, is charged with affray as are all the others.
In addition, Fitch-Banks, also of Fifth Avenue, is charged with carrying a large kitchen knife in public. Nathan Wilson, of Wykeham House, Lowther Street, The Groves, is charged with carrying a metal bat in public.
Stine Wilson, also of Wykeham House, is alleged to have assaulted the woman and the child and carried a metal bat in public.
