TOP GEAR presenter Richard Hammond was laughing and smiling as he took a trip in the Yorkshire Air Ambulance's helicopter for the second time in as many weeks.
The 36-year-old TV star was today discharged from Leeds General Infirmary, and transferred to a hospital closer to his home near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire.
The air ambulance landed at the Leeds hospital at about 10.40am, and Mr Hammond was wheeled into the helicopter on a stretcher.
Meanwhile, police and Health and Safety Executive investigations are continuing to find out what went wrong in last Wednesday's horrific 300mph crash at Elvington Airfield, near York. The accident happened during filming for Top Gear.
