IT isn't just council parking attendants who make errors (Too many errors, Letters, September 21).
I was issued a ticket at York Hospital when my wife was in intensive care.
I arrived at 11am and went into intensive care with the intention of asking for a permit, but was asked to wait in the waiting-room for 30 minutes. In that 30-minute period I was issued a ticket that was incorrectly filled in.
I searched the internet and found that if a ticket was incorrectly filled in it could be cancelled, so I asked for this to be done.
Just over three weeks later I received a letter making out that they were doing me a favour in cancelling the ticket on this occasion, as the ticket didn't display the make or model of car, or its registration number, or a breach code. So many errors on one ticket is surely unacceptable.
