LAST Monday the country was refused by our so-called Government the right to hold a referendum on withdrawal from the EU.
The majority of the people backed this referendum, but were once again turned down.
There could be various reasons for this, but could it be because most failed politicians finish up with a well-paid job in Brussels or our politicians frightened of a confrontation with the unelected leaders in Brussels?
Countries on the continent are slowly but surely becoming wealthier than us because we keep giving our money to bail them out. We now learn that France is also in dire straits and will require a bail-out.
We are coming to the point where the people of the country are going to call for an election, where hopefully the politicians will take notice of those who elect them.
