I SUGGEST there is at least one person in Yorkshire who knows more than Mr Holmes about the fate of retired greyhounds – the woman who runs Tia Greyhound Rescue, near Hebden Bridge (Letters, October 26) I suggest he visits the Tia website and addresses the wall of shame: reading that should make him incandescent with rage.
Thankfully, once in Tia’s safe hands these beautiful dogs get the kind of retirement and loving home they deserve.
