EXPLOSIVE finishing from Al Graham was not enough to save Woolpack from defeat in the LNS York Sunday Mixed Darts League.
Graham fired a treble 20, bull checkout for a 23-dart leg against Five Lions but Kev Thomson (100, 121 for 26 darts) led Lions to a 5-4 win.
Lyn Thompson was outstanding in hitting 140, 140, 100 as Five Lions beat Edinburgh Arms 5-4, while team-mate Pav Ptaszynski hit 100, 100.
Edinburgh’s best were Kris Outterson (100, 100, 100), Jim Hawksby (140, 140, 100, 100) and Colin Outterson (100, 125).
Edinburgh Arms also had a close-fought match against Crescent, with Colin and Heather Outterson sealing a 5-4 win in the decider.
Earlier, Kris Outterson hit four tons in a 21-dart leg, while Hawksby weighed in with three tons. Danny Moore was a treble-ton scorer for Crescent.
