CIDER will be the order of the day at two York pubs this weekend, when they host special events.
The Waggon and Horses in Lawrence Street and Brigantes in Micklegate both have cider festivals.
The Brigantes event starts at 8.30pm on Friday and will feature up to 20 real ciders and perries, including some award-winners. There will also be a cider-themed menu and the event will continue into next week, until the ciders run out.
At the Waggon and Horses, there will also be 20 ciders and perries, with a Hallowe’en theme on Saturday night and live music.
