Dringhouses roadworks to end early
THESE roadworks, which have seen the closure of a main road through the Dringhouses area of York, are set to be completed ahead of schedule by noon today.
City of York Council has been carrying out resurfacing work in St Helen’s Road since Monday, resulting in the road being closed to traffic throughout the day.
The closure was set to end on Friday, but the council now hopes the work will end this lunchtime following the laying of an anti-skid surface and necessary road markings.
