Kate Whitaker, 17, who lost her schoolwork when thieves broke into a car
AN A-level student is appealing for the safe return of her schoolwork after her handbag was stolen from a car.
Kate Whitaker, 17, a student in Huntington School’s Sixth Form, said the bag was taken between 10pm and 8am on Thursday evening, from a white Mini.
Kate is appealing in particular for the return of her art sketch book, which was in the big, red leather-effect bag.
The car was parked on White Cross Road, off Haxby Road, when the incident happened.
