THIEVES stole two screw guns from a parked van near Selby.
They broke into a silver Suzuki van in the car park of the Horse and Jockey pub on Weeland Road, Eggborough, at about 12.40pm on Monday.
They stole the screw guns, manufactured by Makita and Dewalt, and then left in a silver Vauxhall Vectra.
Police are keen to trace a couple who witnessed the theft and informed the owner, but who left before the police arrived and did not leave their details.
