TWO evening bus services between York and Selby will run until December after being scheduled for the axe at the end of this month.
Arriva Yorkshire is to continue operating the number 42 evening route, for which funding from local parish councils stops next week, up to December 17.
The company said it wanted to retain the 7.30pm and 10pm service from Selby and the 8.30pm and 11pm service from York in the run-up to Christmas.
