WITH reference to the Soapbox letter in The Press of October 10, while I endorse Barbara Pettitt’s comments on the new footbridge, I wish there could be an effort to tidy the banks and River Foss.
With all the development in that area, how nice it would be to see some incentives to make our River Foss a more pleasing sight than at present.
I appreciate that the River Foss Society does enhance its existence upstream, but let’s have some investment made for this river.
