THE controversial hospital development in Selby in one of two council projects which has made the short list for a regional award.
The New Selby War Memorial Hospital and Civic Centre, which was opened this summer after a public vote to retain the name, has been shortlisted for the Making A Difference Awards, which promote joint working between public-sector organisations.
The awards have been set up by Local Government Yorkshire and the Humber.
