TEENAGER Aaron Richardson has been discharged from hospital a month after the attack which left him in a coma.

The 15-year-old York High School pupil was attacked at the entrance to the funfair on Knavesmire on September 17 and suffered serious head injuries.

He was critically ill and was placed in a medically induced coma in Leeds General Infirmary, but has made a remarkable recovery and was yesterday allowed to return home.

Police officers are still appealing for witnesses to the incident.

A 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man, who were arrested in connection with the assault, remain on police bail as enquiries continue.
