RESIDENTS in an East Yorkshire town have been warned to be on their guard after two burglaries.
The first break-in happened between 6.45pm on Friday, October 7, and 1.20pm on Sunday, October 9, when thieves forced their way into a house in Denison Road, in Pocklington, through a conservatory door and stole a bag containing fishing equipment.
The second burglary was carried out between the early hours of Tuesday, October 11, and midnight the following day in Broadmanor, when several bottles of alcohol were stolen.
