TWO people arrested after a double stabbing in York have been released on bail.
A 44-year-old man and 51-year-old woman were taken into custody and questioned by police after they both suffered stab wounds in a “domestic-related incident” in Gale Lane, Acomb, at about 6.35pm on Saturday.
They were treated at York Hospital for treatment before being arrested, and a police cordon was thrown around the area as officers carried out a forensic examination.
