FIREFIGHTERS were called out to deal with a blaze in a York flat tonight.
The alarm was raised at about 8.40pm after smoke was seen coming from flats in Cambridge Street, off Holgate Road.
Two fire crews from York and an aerial ladder platform from Harrogate were called to the scene and the fire has now been dealt with. Nobody has been injured and a fire investigation officer is looking to establish the cause of the incident.
