AFTER reading on the Letters Page about the future of the Union Terrace car and coach park, I agree with all the folks who opposed this idea in The Press.

I do believe that it is so important to keep this facility available for use as it is, not to be developed. This site has all the areas and toilet requirements for the public to use, plus allowing access to the lovely shops and cafés and to our lovely city.

Also I would like to comment on the great news that at last there is going to be a hotel built in Walmgate. This is a much-needed requirement in our area, especially near the Early Music Centre.

All the shops will welcome the trade. Walmgate is a very old area that needs bringing into the 21st century.

We have some great shops, restaurants, plus good access to the city centre. There are plenty of things for children in Space 109, and of course The Press. I love living in this neighbourhood.
