A WHICH? Magazine survey has put York Hospital among the worst in the country for car parking fines and charges.
Hospital chief executive Patrick Crowley said the recently opened multi-storey car park had been built in response to patient and visitor concerns and had doubled the number of available spaces, but the Which? survey had been carried out prior to the new car park being opened.
He said: “Improvements have clearly been made to our facilities since this survey and we would hope to see this reflected in future feedback from patients and visitors.”
