YORK Against Cancer’s golf day, to be held on July 7 at York Golf Club, will herald the arrival of a new main sponsor.
Your Move Anscombs have succeeded Garbutt & Elliott whose stint, which ended last year, realised more than £25,000 for the charity.
Said Scott Anscomb: “We are proud to be associated with York Against Cancer, particularly as it involves local people raising money to help local people affected by cancer.”
This year’s event, which is already half subscribed, takes the format of a shotgun start, followed by a slap-up dinner and prize giving in the clubhouse.
