A FORMER car showroom in Harrogate has been sold to a local community church group.
Mayfield Community Church has bought the former showroom in Westmoreland Street and has received planning permission to develop it into a place of worship.
The showroom has remained unoccupied for the last eight years since One Medical, which developed the Mowbray Square Medical Centre in 2009, bought it along with workshops and car parking in order to carry out the development. Carter Jonas handled the sale on behalf of One Medical.
