I FIND little sympathy for George Appleby's comments about the two young men ejected from their flight home (Letters, August 26).

If in a similar situation myself, and then interviewed by national television, I think that I, too, might sit with a self-satisfied smile on my face.

However, I would part company with these two Lancashire Asian lads on one issue.

Far from calling a handful of my fellow passengers "paranoid", I would call them something a lot easier to understand. In my opinion, that word would be racist.

I really hope these two men are making a hefty compensation claim.
