It’s sunny. Hooray. I like to help people understand solar power. My Victorian end terrace has solar electricity and hot water.
I’ve made more than 1,700 KWhrs of electricity on my roof in a year. This is worth more than a ten per cent return on the money invested.
Through measures such as solar power, sempatap (thermal wall paper) solid wall insulation and double glazing, I have cut the energy use of my home in half.
