A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with serious injuries after his vehicle collided with two cars in a crash on a North Yorkshire road.
The crash, involving a black Ford Ka, a black Vauxhall Corsa and a black-coloured motorcycle, happened shortly after 4pm on the A661 at Plumpton, near Knaresborough.
The motorcyclist, believed to be from the Wetherby area, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
The driver of the Ford Ka was also taken to hospital with an injury to his arm.
The road is expected to be closed until shortly after 8pm whilst emergency services clear the scene and police began enquires.
