A CAR and a trailer ploughed into a field following a collision on the A19 north of York.
Police and the ambulance service were called after the Mitsubishi Colt and the trailer it was towing were involved in a collision with a Volkswagen van and a Nissan Micra on the A19, near Shipton-by-Beningbrough.
No one was injured in the collision, a police spokesman said.
The collision happened at around 12.50pm yesterday and the road was cleared at around 3pm.
