After a win and two seconds so far this month at Oak Tree Leisure, Julian Griffin kept up his average with another win on Pond Four, this one coming via 55lb of carp, tench and bream.
Drawn at peg 56, Griffin offered paste and pellet in the margins and included fish to 10lb.
Well behind in second place was Alan Alderson, who opted for the eight-metre pole and corn at peg 49.
He also had a varied day as carp, bream, tench and quality roach combined to bring a 41lb 8oz tally.
