THE Dringhouses Bermuda Triangle strikes yet again!
I refer to the First Bus and its annoying capacity of disappearing into the twilight zone. This time it happened on a Friday – the latest time-shift to another dimension for these buses.
I waited and waited at 7.30pm for the 12 bus to arrive and when it didn’t appear I hastened on to Eason View to hopefully catch the number 4.
I was joined by another frustrated would-be traveller who claimed that no 12 bus at all had passed his bus stop, which was just after the Tesco stop.
After nearly an hour-long wait, he decided to give up and go home while I decided to go back to my original stop hoping to catch the much later 12. This eventually did arrive.
Either give us a reliable timetable or at least a free phone call to a spiritualist to give us hopeful bus travellers a fighting chance.
